He was sobbing and had to hug me.
Recently, after one of my strategic storytelling workshops, a gentleman in the audience pulled me aside.
60-year-old man. CEO of an extremely successful company.
He was sobbing and had to hug me.
For the first time in his life, he realized he had to start telling people his story.
He told me he was an immigrant.
When he first moved to the U.S. and was building his company, he was homeless.
Now, he’s changing thousands of people’s lives.
He kept apologizing to me for crying as if it was some kind of weakness.
I told him he finally realized he had to stop communicating with his head and had to start communicating with his heart.
