Joe Rogan was recently on my podcast.
It took me 2 years to book him, and I spent weeks preparing.
20 mins into our virtual interview, everything was going great.
Then, my 5-year-old barged in.
I muted my mic and waved my hands, trying to tell him to leave my office!
Nope.
He started throwing legos and got louder and louder.
I couldn't finish the interview. It went up in flames.
Then my alarm clock rang, and I woke up from this nightmare. 😂
Lessons:
1. Though I didn't have a “celebrity” on my podcast this week, I had someone incredibly influential to me, ✒️Claire M. Davis🖋️. In fact, since working with her, my business has tripled. *You might want to tune in.
2. “Hooks” are incredibly powerful
3. Always make sure your office door is locked when your kids are home from school. 😏
