Packaging design is not just about aesthetics...
...but how every small detail can significantly affect customer behavior. ๐
๐ For example, consider how some brands have adjusted the positioning of their characters' eyes on packaging.
In supermarkets, where products are displayed on multiple shelves, design teams have made subtle adjustments, such as changing the character’s gaze by just a fraction.
Why? The shift in eye direction isn't for adults browsing the aisles but for the kids sitting in shopping carts. By slightly adjusting the character’s eyes to look down, they catch the attention of children, who often make the purchase decisions (or influence their parents).
One of the questions that KEVIN CONNOR asked on the Stories With Traction Podcast was, "Are you putting print to work?"
When designing for your target audience, every detail counts!
โก Key takeaway: Small design choices—whether it's a character's gaze, the color scheme, or the placement of a product—can have an outsized impact on how a product engages with its target audience.
P.S I'm very thankful that Keven introduced me to Entrepreneurs'โ Organization.
P.P.S. Have a great day, everyone!
