๐Ÿšจ The Danger of Delegating Discomfort ๐Ÿšจ

Here’s something I see all too often: leaders delegating the tasks that make them uncomfortable. Social media? “I’ll let the team handle all of that.” Storytelling? “Not my thing; I’ll let someone else do it.”

But here’s the hard truth: Delegating discomfort is dangerous.

Imagine if Steve Jobs had delegated the storytelling aspect of Apple. Would it still be the company we know today? No way. Jobs understood that storytelling and connection were essential. He got on stage, told the story of Apple, and inspired millions.

If you’re a leader who wants to be a masterful storyteller, you can’t delegate your way to connection. You need the reps, the practice, the consistency, and yes, sometimes the discomfort.

If the thought of sharing your stories on social media terrifies you, start small.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Post something on social media once a week.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Increase to a few times a week.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Try a mix of written posts, videos, and photos.

You don’t have to be perfect; your audience connects with authenticity, not polish.
