The gamification of embarrassment…

…has been my secret weapon for 10 years.

Alright, hear me out...

This might sound a little weird, but I made a game out of embarrassing myself. Yep, you read that right—on purpose.

Here’s the thing: If you want to be a phenomenal communicator, you know it takes practice.

But what if you could speed up the process?

What if instead of taking 5 years to get to “incredible,” you could cut that time in half? You can. The secret? Embarrass yourself. Often.

Deliberately put yourself in situations where you risk awkwardness, imperfection, and (gasp!) vulnerability.

Because here’s the truth: growth doesn’t happen in our comfort zone.

It happens when you try, fail, and learn in those cringe-worthy moments.

So I made it a game.

Every month, I set a goal: How many awkward, embarrassing interactions can I have?

And guess what? Each “oops” moment was a step closer to becoming a better communicator.

The more you embarrass yourself, the faster you learn.

The faster you learn, the better you get.

So, if you want to crush your communication goals, don’t avoid embarrassment—embrace it.

Make it your secret weapon!

The question is: Are you willing to play the game?
