Three years ago, I made a decision. ๐ฌ
At the time, it was a huge risk.
I made the decision while staring at El Capitan (in Yosemite) with my wife.
For those of you who aren't aware, a climber named Alex Honnold free-soloed the mountain, meaning he climbed without any ropes.
He was asked why in the world he would do such a thing, and he said that “year after year, the desire to free solo El Capitan didn't go away.” He had to do it.
For me, year-after-year, I also had the desire to climb a new “mountain” in my business.
It was one of those moments in life that was beautifully dangerous.
The risk could have either set me back years or fundamentally changed my business for the better. The latter happened.
As much of a beast as it was to climb, the view is awesome, and now I'm able to help more people than ever before.
Want to scale a mountain? I mean, your business?!
Climb it, and don't look down. It's a better view from the top.
