While speaking in Erie, I asked someone what their favorite restaurant was, and without hesitation, they yelled, “Like My Thai!”

With that kind of recommendation, I had to check it out, and it did not disappoint. 

The owner and chef, Mike Augustine, put the kitchen right in the middle of his restaurant, so he can talk with his customers and bring some joy to their lives.

While eating, I heard Mike ask one customer, “how’s your mother recovering from her surgery,” I heard him tell another customer that he was making something for them that wasn't on the menu because he thought that they would really like it, and I saw another customer come in to hang out with Mike because he hadn't seen him in over a week. 

I was stunned by how engaging he was, especially since he was cooking numerous meals at a time.

There is a reason this man has 4,400 reviews on social media.

He cares.

In fact, he cares a lot and he's extremely creative.
