7 things that have increased my profit by 25%
In January, I read Craig Andrews’s book Make Sales Magical. Little did I know it would transform aspects of my business. I had to have Craig on the Stories With Traction Podcast to share his concepts. Here are some of the points that we talked about…
1) ๐๐ผ๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ โ๏ธ: Forget the hard sell. Start with a small, irresistible offer that builds trust before asking for that big commitment. It's like asking for coffee, not marriage.
2) ๐๐ถ๐๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ฒ ๐ช: Give them way more than they expect. You know, like when a restaurant gives you a free dessert just because. Who wouldn't come back for that?
3) ๐๐ถ๐น๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐น๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ ๐ซ: Some clients are just not worth it. Be like a nightclub bouncer—only let in the ones who aren't going to trash the place.
4) ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฆ: Structure your offers with 4-5 mini-deliverables. It keeps things interesting and shows you're serious about providing value. Think of it as a tasting menu before the main course.
5) ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ๐บ-๐ฆ๐ผ๐น๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ ๏ธ: Address a problem, solve it, then offer a solution to the next problem you just created (in a good way, of course). It's like a Russian nesting doll of value.
6) ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ โก๏ธ: If they can't decide on a small offer, how will they handle the big stuff? Decisive clients are your best friends.
7) ๐ฆ๐ต๐ถ๐ณ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ง : Help your prospects visualize success with you in their corner. It's like having a GPS for business growth.
