Packaging design is not just about aesthetics...
...it is about how every small detail can significantly affect customer behavior. 👇
For example, consider how some brands have adjusted the positioning of their characters' eyes on packaging.
Design teams have made subtle adjustments in supermarkets, where products are displayed on multiple shelves, such as changing the character’s gaze by just a fraction.
Why?
The shift in eye direction isn't for adults browsing the aisles but for the kids sitting in shopping carts.
By slightly adjusting the character’s eyes to look down, they catch the attention of children, who often make the purchase decisions (or influence their parents).
It's important to recognize that small design choices, whether a character's gaze, the color scheme, or the placement of a product, can greatly impact how a product engages with its target audience.
When designing for your market, every detail counts!
